Brookline is a town in Norfolk County, Massachusetts. It borders Newton (part of Middlesex County) to the west and Boston (part of Suffolk County) to the east, north, south, northwest, and southwest; it is therefore non-contiguous with any other part of Norfolk County. As of the 2000 census, the population of the town was 57,107.

John F. Kennedy NHS preserves the birthplace of America’s 35th president. In 1967, the president’s mother returned here, where Kennedy spent his boyhood, and restored the house to her recollection of its 1917 appearance.

The Country Club is not only the oldest country club in the United States, it is one of the largest in the Northeast. Nestled on 236 acres of land, just a few miles from Boston, TCC has approximately 1300 members.

Coolidge Corner is a neighborhood of Brookline, Massachusetts, centered around the intersection of Beacon Street and Harvard Street. Coolidge Corner developed as a transit-oriented streetcar suburb, and retains a pedestrian-friendly, walkable feel. Many popular coffee shops, pharmacies, small independent boutiques, and ethnic restaurants are located there. The Coolidge Corner Theater, located on Harvard Street, a restored art deco movie theater premiering art house and independent films.
